I have recently sold my property through James and the whole experience was excellent, from start to finish. It was by far the best experience I have had when selling a property. His customer service is fantastic, and he would always go the extra mile to make sure I was happy. He listened to all my requirements and delivered on all his promises. I was kept informed at all times and never had to chase him to do anything, he was always a step ahead. I would highly recommend James and I also wouldn’t use anyone else when selling again in future.

I asked James to assist in my house sale after a personal recommendation from a friend. He was so helpful with his knowledge and superb communication over the sale. I found him very professional and highly competent as well as open, friendly and honest and would highly recommend him in the future. My house sold on the third viewing in no small part to James’s efforts. 

We have just recently sold our property in Edinburgh and are very pleased that James Milne had been recommended to us. We live in Northern Ireland and having someone you feel you have full confidence in and someone you can trust means a lot and we certainly received both and much more from James. Right from the offset James was fully committed and very proactive in his approach to getting the property ready and on the market. Within a week James was showing potential buyers around and handled all queries at his end and at the same time kept us fully informed as to how everything was going. In a very short space of time James informed us that he had secured a very strong offer and within a few days our property was sold!  We couldn’t recommend James highly enough and wish him every success in the future.

We had had our apartment on the market with a “no thrills budget” renowned estate agent for 100 days.  The property agent and company delivered a sub-standard non-existent service which subsequently resulted in a stale listing.  We contacted Cecchini Property to switch to them. A first-class service was provided by our realtor James Milne.  His commitment and professionalism from the start of the “relaunch” through to the sale was exceptional. Our apartment was sold very quickly. We would highly recommend this estate agent.  

After eight months with a well-known Edinburgh agency, I was in the kitchen of my two-bedroom flat in central Edinburgh. There was yet another flyer from Cecchini Property agent, James Milne. I phoned the number and by the weekend had met him and was impressed. He is an agent who gets things done.  I had met no one from the other agency as their office was closed and all worked from home.  James told me about his strategy for my flat, we put it back on the market. He was forensic in the choice of clients and within five weeks it was sold at an excellent price with exchange happening three weeks later.

Commission was charged on the amount raised over the home report valuation.  This was worth every penny as with the previous agency I had accepted four offers that were under the home report. All fell through. The expenses of the previous year with the other agency were wiped out by the selling price that James achieved.

Throughout the sale he kept us informed and updated and always responded if I wanted contact. 

James is exactly who you need to sell your property.  A born communicator, he will use all his skills and knowledge to affect a good and fast sale.

We were with another estate agent, but we lost both our sale and purchase due to the terrible way the firm handled things. We received a letter from James offering his services and calling him was the best decision we ever made! James doesn’t give 100% he gives 150% He is extremely knowledgeable, tenacious, dedicated and works so hard I doubt he sleeps at night. He knew the problems we had previously with the other firm and was determined to show not all estate agents are the same and he certainly did that. He is very easy to talk to and his previous role as a property developer is also beneficial. James promised us he would sell our flat and find our perfect house. He doggedly perused every potential buyer. By some miracle the house we were hoping to buy before (the one we lost due to the other estate agents) returned to the market after the sale following our also feel through. The person who is our buyer originally only wanted a virtual tour however James persuaded him to come view and despite viewing six flats beforehand he put in an offer. If James had not persuaded him that it was best to view, there is little doubt that the purchaser would have not chosen our flat. We can never thank James enough for all his hard work and for helping us achieve our hope of buying our wee cottage in North Queensferry I would happily recommend James to anyone who is looking for an honest estate agent who will always have his client’s interest at heart. Our only regret is not finding James at the start for if we had we are certain that our sale would not have fallen through, and we be in our new home now.
