After eight months with a well-known Edinburgh agency, I was in the kitchen of my two-bedroom flat in central Edinburgh. There was yet another flyer from Cecchini Property agent, James Milne. I phoned the number and by the weekend had met him and was impressed. He is an agent who gets things done. I had met no one from the other agency as their office was closed and all worked from home. James told me about his strategy for my flat, we put it back on the market. He was forensic in the choice of clients and within five weeks it was sold at an excellent price with exchange happening three weeks later. Commission was charged on the amount raised over the home report valuation. This was worth every penny as with the previous agency I had accepted four offers that were under the home report. All fell through. The expenses of the previous year with the other agency were wiped out by the selling price that James achieved.
